COURSE OBJECTIVES
Participants will develop a high degree of business communication and
interpersonal skills. This seminar will focus on developing business English
skills for use in a professional environment both inside and outside the
company. The aim is for the participants to become more confident in speaking
and have the right attitude for learning and ultimately deliver high quality
work that will make a bottom-line difference in your organization. Elements of
English mastery as critical factors in effective business communication are also

Negotiating:
This course provides
participants with the appropriate language, specific intercultural skills, and
effective techniques necessary to be successful negotiator.
Emails & Report
Writing:
To communicate
appropriately and effectively by email. The course gives participants techniques
and strategies to help them write and reply to emails quickly and efficiently in
the workplace.
Meetings:
To participate in
meetings with confidence. The course gives participants techniques an strategies
to help them communicate in business meetings using appropriate vocabulary, key
expression and useful phrases.
Presentations:
Present and get your
point across effectively in English. The course has six units which cover the
language and skills involved at each stage of presentation including talking
about visuals, summarizing and dealing with questions.
Socializing:
To build good
relationships with international clients and colleagues. It includes essential
expressions and conversation techniques that will enable students to socialize
and make business contacts in English.
Telephoning:
This course teaches
participants strategies for communicating by telephone and trains them to
sequence a conversation logically. The course builds up students’ confidence
allowing them to communicate effectively during the telephone call.

Trainers Biodata
1-Richard Vaughan
59 years
old and from America where he started and operated five businesses. Richard
also created and taught seven different Community Education classes at three
colleges. He has also conducted business and personal communication trainings in
California and Arizona. He has resided in 11 states in the U.S. and in three
countries including South Korea and Algeria and comes with a wealth of
managerial, cultural land religious knowledge gleaned from over 30 years of
business while dealing with thousands of customers, businesses and many
Corporations.
Richard
was a communications specialist in the U.S. Army where he had a secret clearance
and dealt with “state of the art” encryption and communications equipment.
General Telephone Company of the United States was the next stop on his
communications journey where he worked in the communications offices of three
different cities in California while transferring, installing and repairing
communication switch room equipment. After training for and becoming a
communications course supervisor and trainer for Scientology of Orange county,
where he also presented management courses, he went into business himself. His
communications skills were honed during the next 30 years when he created and
taught Community Education College Courses, started a retail store and sold It
for a 300% profit, ran a construction business, (with between 6 and 12 employees
at any given time) and also started and ran a video business in his spare time
for 3 years.
2-Amir Ridza Hashim
Amir
Ridza Hashim (Amir) is a PSMB certified trainer specializing in the area of soft
skill. He is a graduate from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s
degree in Mathematics and Statistics and minor in Computer Science.
He has
served in a wide array of organizations such as Sime Darby Berhad, Malaysian
National Insurance Berhad, Amanah General Insurance Berhad and AAO PANA
Insurance Brokers in the span of 12 years, predominantly in Employee Benefits
and Risk Management. He has benefited many organizations through the
professional consultations and has gained precious knowledge and skills
especially in the Continuous Professional Development Programme dealing mainly
in interpersonal skills, business communication, selling and presentation skills
and leadership workshops.
His
foray as a Professional Training Consultant has opened up opportunities to share
and impart his knowledge and experience to various levels of staffs in
governmental departments and in multitude of industries such as manufacturing,
services, consulting, IT, property development, shipping, logistics and
hospitality industry.
A firm
believer of “Learning through FUN”, Amir brings in the elements of emotions into
his training to accentuate the impact of knowledge, to strengthen the
